Title: The Word Made Flesh: Dualism, Physicalism, and the Incarnation
Evan Rosa will be leading a discussion of Trenton Merricks’ paper “The Word Made Flesh: Dualism, Physicalism, and the Incarnation”, a paper on a materialist account of the Incarnation. Merricks suggests that a dualist account of the Incarnation creates unwelcome (read: heretical) problems that a materialist account averts. The paper it is available in Van Inwagen/Zimmerman eds., Persons: Human and Divine (OUP, 2007).
Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t read the paper.
